Daphne Hi Temp Oil X-U

Daphne Hi-Temp X-U is a semi-hot quenching oil with adequate viscosity for hot oil quenching and moderate cooling power for cold oil immersion quenching (at required temperatures below 100°C (212°F)). It has outstanding distortion prevention characteristics, as well it’s able to deliver increased core hardness in thick carburizing steel, with minimum distortion. Due to its relatively higher application temperature, and controlled distortion it minimizes the need of parts rework after heat treating.

Daphne Hi-Temp X-U is suitable for use in situations where customers are facing parts cracking with cold oils or too soft parts with hot oils. Daphne Hi-Temp X-U is suitable for use in controlled atmosphere batch furnaces for quenching a variety of alloy steel and bearing steel parts. It is recommended for use on transmission shafts and other parts requiring minimal straightening.
