Daphne Hi Temp Oil L-U

Daphne Hi Temp L-U is a low consumption, general semi-hot quenching oil. Daphne Hi Temp L-U has a very short vapor blanket cooling stage to promote less distortion. It has great distortion prevention characteristics and can increase the core hardness of thick carburizing steel parts with minimal distortion due to its relatively high application temperature, minimizing possible rework.

Daphne Hi Temp L-U is suitable for quenching steel parts with medium hardenability characteristics in pusher type furnaces under controlled atmosphere conditions at temperatures up to 120°C (248°F). It is best suited for quenching small to medium sized gears and other steel parts, ranging in size from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch in thickness.
